Meadows

Sown with seed collected from the native limestone meadow (SSSI) higher up the hills, the gardens boast several rolling meadows rich in primroses, yellow rattle, common spotted orchids, ox-eye daisies and other wild flower species. Garden architecture and specimen trees, especially maples, mingle in painterly associations and add seasonal interest.
